Inlays/Onlays
When a tooth has too much damage or decay for a traditional filling, but is still healthy enough to not require a full crown, inlays and onlays are the perfect, conservative solution. Often called "partial crowns," these custom made restorations repair the chewing surfaces of your back teeth, blending strength with a natural appearance.
Inlays: Used to treat decay or damage that is contained entirely within the ridges (cusps) of your tooth's chewing surface.
Onlays: Used for more extensive damage that extends over one or more of the tooth's pointed cusps.
